We believe discipleship is much more than attending a service, serving in an outreach or taking a class. Discipleship is about a lifestyle. A lifestyle characterized by sacrificial, radical and disciplined obedience to Jesus and His purposes. Webster defines a disciple as: a committed follower; one who accepts, follows and assists in spreading the doctrines of another. Therefore, a Christian disciple is a person who accepts, follows and assists in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. This wholehearted devotion to Jesus should permeate every part of our being and influence all that we do.

Course Description
Our hearts were fashioned to be truly satisfied by God alone. Thus, throughout the ages men and women have been beset by a fervent desire to experience Him in a way that quenches the thirst of their soul. Yet in our day the way into this profound relational encounter with God is both largely unknown and often neglected. By considering the radical call of the Gospel and the treasured teachings of figures from Church history, this class will seek to discover the ancient paths that lead us into deep communion with Jesus where we taste of the love that passes all knowledge.

Class format: Video Teachings; Group Discussion; Required Reading; Quizzes; Meditation and Journal Topics
Costs:  Time Commitment and $30/person for course notes.
*Though recommended, you don’t have to buy the notes to attend*
Dates: Sundays, 3-5pm; Feb. 5th - Jun 24th (with breaks).
*You don’t have to make all sessions in order to be a part of course*
