Sunday, October 7th – The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem Gathering Time: 2-4pm Location: City Church – Simpsonville; 416 Holland Rd, Simpsonville SC 29681 Description: Annually churches internationally choose the first Sunday of October to commit to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. The Hinge will host a city-wide prayer gathering this year at City Church – Simpsonville. Worship and prayers will focus on God's love and promises for Israel as found in the Word. Thursday, October 18th – “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls” Documentary Time: 6pm – Worship by David Walker; 7pm – Documentary begins Location: The Channel @ Grille 33; 221 N. Main Street, Greenville SC 29601 Description: An opportunity to learn more about the global sex trade, and watch the critically-acclaimed, 8 time award winning documentary, “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls”. A team from the abolitionist organization, Exodus Cry (www.exoduscry.org), will be joining us to provide insight into the film, which exposes the undercurrent of injustice beneath the surface of sex-tourism. Millions of women and children around the world are increasingly becoming the expendable pawns of a burgeoning business catering to the demand for illicit sex.
